Shoot on sight part 5 But will

Shoot on sight part 5

But will any company dare to venture outside the box? Are we soon to venture into 3D television through holographic or cyber technology, or will that never happen? Or will the next be interactive television, shoot on sight part 5 voice recognition and personalized content? Or is this just as good as it gets bar some visual upgrades? What are we likely to see in the future, and how will it evolve to that point. If this is your first visit, be sure to check out the FAQ by clicking the link above. I hope others in PAL land or AUS with a mac, HV20, toast9 and PS3 can help out. I get motion blur on blu ray dvds created via toast The motion blur happens when objects move accross the screen. I use the PS3s blu ray drive to play back the blu ray DVDs through to a pioneer plasma. The same method I am describing used to work fine before, but now all I get is the motion blur. The best way to describe the blur is if the 50hz footage remember it is PAL Australia is being played back at the 60hz refresh rate instead, causing a kind of ghost or blur effect on anything moving used the Automatic best setting in toast 9 to burn, and dropped in the original captured AIC MOV files and burn to regular DVDs. Can anyone in PAL land please assist with this? Do I need to find a better workflow to make blu ray DVDs that work, giving me smooth motion 50hz PAL footage? The tapes look great and nothing wrong direct form the HDMI to the PLASMA. I know what I want to do is possible, since I recall watching back some blu rays I had made using TOAST 9 and me going wow, these look just like the original HV20 tapes!. happy, after much more research and reading it seems the PAL PS3 are not changing to the correct refresh rate of 50Hz output when playing from the PS3s HDD or any other connected card/memory stick etc. It treats the file as a 60Hz hence the judder and blur. Even when I shoot on sight part 5 my Blu Ray DVDs in Toast 9 I still see the same problem of 60hz anyone else in PAL land worked out a way to shoot on sight part 5 the HV20 footage on their PS3 without the motion blur via TOAST, even if by converting their MOV files or something else? I would love to figure a work around for this since it drives me mad I cannot watch my HV20 footage except from the camera. EDIT I have just done a lot of testing and found some interesting results. I made an SD DVD using my Pioneer stand alone DVD burner, and used the DV lock function on the camera, plugged it in via the DV firewire connection on the DVD burner and it worked a treat, the DVD made was perfect copy and played back in both the Pioneer DVD player and PS3 as smooth as silk and extremely clear as close to HD you will see from an SD DVD. I them made an SD video in iDVD on the imac and played it back in the DVD this time the SD DVD had the MOTION JUDDER/BLUR as I explained at the start of the post! I cant work out why since all I did was drop the HD footage AIC MOV file into iDVD and hit iDVD should produce a perfect SD downconverted DVD, but it didnt. I also tried ripping the good DVD copy I made with the Pioneer DVD burner and then used the the mac to make a SD MP4 out of it for testing on the Apple TV and PS Result, I get the same motion blur again! very strange since I just ripped it from a DVD which plays perfect in a DVD player. There has to be a problem in my MP4 encoding settings somewhere, I am pretty sure now. I have been using eugenia settings for MP4 files. so, it seems anything I make on the mac has this blur/judder when I made a DVD using hardware the PIO DVD burner things are running smooth as is it like this? It appears my only choice now for HD viewing to record back to the camera and watch it via the camera itself, or make an SD DVD copy using the stand alone Pioneer DVD burner with the camera in DV have been at this problem trying to fix it all day long and I am running out of please help by posting if you know the solution to this. Last edited by Jaguar; 2008 October 16th at 06: hmm, no one knows what the problem I have is? I just created a new project DV widescreen using iMovie HD. Dragged over one clip which was one with a lot of fast motion. I then simply shared this over to iDVD to burn a DVD. I played this back on the Pioneer DVD player and still no of ghosting and blur this time, probably worse then ever! on a side note, I took a Blu Ray DVD-R I made with some clips and opened the folders up on the I then copied the m2ts files to the macs desktop and opended these files one by one with play perfect, using the BOB deinterlace filter in VLC this does not solve anything, when I put the same blu ray disc back in the ps3 it just looks terrible with the blur/ghosting effect. Same result for any MP4s created and played back, both on Apple TV and have checked and checked all settings on the players and they are all set correct for PAL. Funny thing is I remember making blu rays just for the PS3 before this way some months back and those videos looked identical to the tape/camera via hdmi, ie almost perfect in reproduction. Please, if anyone who knows more about this cam help out? So what I was seeing was exactly what I thought was wrong. So, for anyone in PAL land, who actually cares about seeing smooth 50i HD video via their PS3, you now can! I just hope this information as confusing as it may be helps at least one other person out. sorry to quote myself, but I am quite pleased to say the new PS3 firmware v 5 has just been released, and it has a new 50 Hz setting now available under video settings, so PAL people can now select the correct 50Hz output on the PS3 FINALLY!
